Dampening solutions
The ink-water balance stability is also critical to offset printing quality. A necessary condition is stable composition of dampening solution.
UAB Folis offers a wide range of dampening additives tailored for different printing methods and technologies.
We will help you choose the most suitable dampening additive based not only on the printing method, the inks but also your quality of water. We perform water tests (measuring the total and carbonate hardness) before and after reverse osmosis.
We also perform all the necessary dampening water tests:
Fount Control is used to determine the actual concentration of the dampening agent in the water, hydrometer assistance – for the IPA content; we measure the pH value and conductivity.
We advise on preparation of adequate dampening solution for high quality printing.
